Name: Cherry Cola
Race: Slime
Appearance of Cherry:
As Cherry, her base self, the slime is apply named. Cherry red colored, the slime sometimes can darken or lighten the color based on her mood. Should the carbonation formula be taken, she tends to darken and the presence of bubbles appearing in her system. So she doesn't quite forget, Cherry tries to maintain the same shape as her suit. This means she ends up trying to keep herself as best as she can remember in the shape of her skin suit. The curvy slime practices keeping her body stable as such, though occasionally as she gets distracted, things can get a little out of proportion or a little silly if she's not noting. Practice has got her to continually form the same facial features. Her "hair" though is another matter. It seems more a long dollop that tapers from her crown. Given to a thicker membrane and a life of hiding her identity - Cherry ends up decidedly not leaving evidence of herself everywhere! When she is given to the opportunity to go out as her actual self the slime prefers beach wear and looking like she's probably about to go out to a beach party. Such things are a little more on the rare side, but now that she's going to the Haven Academy, she might actually be able to "let her hair down".
Appearance of Cheri:
As Cheri, the slime appears as a slightly short blonde girl. With blue eyes and a pretty smile, she does her French accent that is amusing and helpful at times for her work. Cheri has no real hard edges to her, and the suit's limitations show without callouses despite the life of labor. The actions of her form do try their best to keep up, but sometimes mistakes happen. Despite her features, Cheri actually doesn't weigh that much due her nature as a slime. Such could lead to awkward conversations that she's quick to laugh off around others, just trying to get around the holes in her features that she actually can't quite explain because science is a thing. If everything goes well though, that's all they notice: a short, curvy, blonde girl with blue eyes. Fingers crossed!

Gear:
Skin Suit +2 (Deception to be human)
Skin Suit Appearance:
Its far from perfect. Though it does fulfill its purpose to a point. It allows for Cherry to go about among most humans without incident. Without the slime, it has no substance or depth. Sans zippers, the suit is entered via the openings in the face, allowing for Cherry to wear it. The skull of the suit has a little more structure, with 'eye sockets' made in allowance along with 'teeth'. The difficulty of holding her appearance however comes in the smaller facets and things that range from awkward to creepy-pasta if they fail. The first of which are her wigs. Favoring blonde wigs, the slime has a selection to choose from and help out with her disguise. As that's not too bad to explain, its not a problem should it get nudged or jarred. The next part is a little more tricky, the contacts that she uses. Given that she has no real 'eyes' as they were, fake ones are needed. Given to being blue, the slime tends to these items to make sure they stay in good condition and could be changed out should one become more worn. More stabilized once in place, they tend to not shift out of place but if something goes awry, it is possible for the red slime to show a bit around the edges. The last problem that lingers is the consistency. Cherry doesn't have bones, thus any pressure if she's not careful, could just squish the limb or push it out of sync. Thus, the suit is a bit curvy to suggest that she is easier to push, and allow for the notion that it could just be a mistake on the eyes if she looks like she shifted out of position.
Maid Uniform (Cost 2: +2 to Seduction checks)
Soda Model Canister Suit Mk II (AR: 2 Armor)
Carbonated Formula (Cost 2: Aspect - costs a FP to activate for a +2 for a single feat of strength)
Advanced Cleaning Tools (Cost 2: +2 To work as a maid - you never know how difficult the task will be!)
Facility:
Facility - A small one story house with a basement.
Modified Foundation Tank - +2 to Endurance (healing)
Cherry lives on the lower side of the spectrum. The neighborhood is nice, but things tend to get tagged or decorated. Her own house was brick. Staunch and chipped with time, it had character. Most of this character came from the touches other people left on it. The walls were spray painted with decorations and the sidewalks were covered with chalk. All the same, she wouldn't change a piece of it. It gave her more grounding, more character to the humans around her. Her yard was kept nice and clean, what wasn't so kindly decorated by her neighbors. The inside though was practically sparkling. The small space was kept a little unnervingly clean, though she had at least some cleaning supplies present in the area to help make sense of it. Cherry does try to keep some 'mess' around the location, misplaced clothing or the like, but its strategic in its placement to make it seem like 'oh yes a human lives here'. One of the more difficult parts however, is that the trash can tends to be on the empty side. The small house is pretty sizable for one person, and provides more than enough room for her. The basement however is where things get more... complicated. Set up is a bit of a lab, designed and engineered for the purposes of tending to Cherry's nature. Hanging is her armor, prepared to be entered at a moment's notice, set up and prepared with a small cache of Carbonated Formula in a pinch. Taking up most of the room is what seems to be some sort of horizontal tank. Usually this innermost secret lair is carefully hidden; by a closed door. The slime girl otherwise tries to set up a relative normal house, playing music on occasion and some station playing on the background just to create noise for the background. Yeah. Gotta keep up those appearances!
History:
The creature that identified itself as Xaspariya is the originator of Cherry. From that creature, Cherry and her sisters were ‘born’. It was not exactly a willing process. Xaspariya was a creature that was intent on devouring all that it could. Its might and ferocity was eventually brought still by the innovation by the Seven Knights of the Fountain of Life. What was supposed to be a virtuous endeavor, turned corrupt by the sheer resilience of the beast, and the Knightly order became devoted to keeping the creature restrained. Or so the well-wished dream would intend. Such goals, such means, would be slowly change. Reorganized as the Seventh Fountain Foundation, the new order pulled their resources and devoted themselves to a more worldly perspective. They studied Xaspariya with the original intent of trying to find a way to destroy the creature. Somewhere along the line, their purposes became corrupt. As the Fountain Foundation became more organized as a mercenary organization, they discerned that the distilled essence of Xaspariya could be used to strengthen their warriors. This quickly developed as a reliance on the creature’s essence as their influence grew with the power of their warriors.
However the Foundation’s quick departure from its core ideals did not go unnoticed by some of its researchers. Dr. Tadashi Soda’s research continued as other products went on, attempting to find ways on how to diminish this creature. More accurately, his research was described of as, how to forcibly split Xaspariya. It wouldn’t be until after Dr. Tadashi’s breakthrough that the farthest indication of the corruption of the Foundation would be made known. Tadashi discovered his answer. He learned how to force the slime to split. Far more manageable, he could force a section of the creature to part, and thereby destroy the creature - piece by piece. The Foundation cheered at his success. The good doctor had finally solved the means on how to complete their long term goal. Unfortunately, it was no longer a project goal, but in case of emergency. In practice, all that Tadashi had revealed to the Foundation was how to create soldiers from the creature itself. These creatures spliced from Xaspariya were done in a decisive fashion. No strong cut was made, always allowing for the Original Source to recover and heal before continuing on. These samples were set to testing and mutagens, forming monsters under the control of the Foundation.
Tadashi was a good researcher, and a good man. However rash thought overtook him. In one day, he went from being a respected, rewarded employee, to being a criminal. He stole from the Foundation five subjects. They were yet to be changed into the monstrosities, yet to be converted into weapons of war. It is easy to hide a slime, particularly when one has the clearance. Tadashi took the five subjects, and fled the Foundation. He ran as far as he could, and used his no small means to evade capture. The creatures he freed would grow to be Tadashi’s children. There were many that had problems with the Fountain Foundation based on their previous decisions, and as long as Dr. Soda provided information, he received a stipend. With this he grew his children, his daughters. Classic - the closest match to Xaspariya’s essence, was what seemed to be the oldest of the children. Her match allowed her significant strength over her siblings. Cherry was the second, her recombination came out to be vibrant red. The third and fourth were the twins - Fizzy and Flat. Their material proved to be almost a complete match, but they separated into their own individual entities. The last was Diet. Her essence was considered the weakest of it, as she had evidence of Carbonation inlaid in her form. They had begun testing on Diet, altering her essence.
It wasn’t until they were called to defend their father that the girls recognized their potential. The Fountain Foundation wasn’t going to leave them alone. In the call to defend their family, the Cola Corps was founded. Dr. Tadashi attempted to insure his daughters were safe, but it became more prevalent that the Fountain Foundation was going to try and expand its influence. Bit by bit they formed their resistance in fighting against the foundation and their beasties, trying to become the ideas of heroes they had in their heads. It fell apart however, with the betrayal of one of their own. It isn’t clear why, but somewhere along the line, Diet became twisted. Whether it was the Fountain Foundation, some connection with Xaspariya, or her own damaged mind, Diet became evil. The assault was quick and violent, happening while Cherry and Classy were on their way back from a grocery run. The Fountain Foundation was there. They managed to overwhelm their assailants, and push to their home, where they found the aftermath of the assault. Flat was dead. Fizzy… seemed it. Doctor Soda, Cherry’s father, was in cuffs and prepared to be taken away. Diet was there, her form more than it was with power almost visible in her frame. Classy released her fury, with Cherry more than stunned.
She isn’t sure how it happened.
When things cleared and Cherry could make sense of the world, they were out of their home. They were away from the mess of the location, but landed in a completely different disaster. Fizzy and Flat were missing. Diet was gone. With their home destroyed, Classy, Cherry, and Tadashi had to try and start over. Time tried to heal wounds, but for Cherry it just took the fight out of her. Eventually she parted ways from her father and sister, needing to just get out of it all. Classic stepped into the fight. She went farther, went harder against the Foundation. Tadashi was there, helping her along the way… but Cherry… she just couldn’t do it anymore. After a heated argument, even that was gone. Cherry parted ways from Classy. She left as far as she could, and took up menial jobs just to get by. In the end, she found work as a maid to fill the time, trying to keep her head low and out of trouble. The nagging feeling she could do more always came by, particularly when she recognized the work of Classy. One day though.. She got a letter from her father. He believed in her. Still. Even when she couldn’t believe in herself. One step at a time, Cherry tried to right herself. Before she knew it, she was applying at the Haven Academy, trying to further herself, and maybe one day she could figure out just what happened to the rest of her family.
