Greta smiles, looking over at Niko and Kate. "That...is adorable. It warms my heart to see. THough, I do believe it is considered mildly impolite...but, yes. The college does offer business courses as well, though they're not part of the electives that the Meta Club encourages. And Abominations are not beings like the Yeti...who are actually quite nice. They are beings that should not be, and one must learn about to avoid....so, I strongly recommend that class, since you need to know at which point "Nuke it and run" is the correct option."
And then, a figure walks in, a dark-skinned man with blue markings in the shape of blush stickers on his face. His smile is bright, and he is...well...kinda large. Not in a good way, it's clear this is a man who enjoys food. Probably cake. His skin is dark, and when he laughs, his belly shakes like a tub full of jelly. He walks forwards, making it clear that his weight in no way interferes with his agility, holding a tray of food. He puts down Fish and Chips in front of Xue, a VERY nice and well seasoned steak in front of Niko, a double bacon cheeseburger with genuine scottish Chips to go with the vanilla shake in front of Nikki, Robin gets her pasta scampi and shrimp to go with her orange juice, and Chii gets her steak salad. He smiles brightly. "Greetings, one and all. Weren't some of you at my shop earlier? I am Bullion Base, greatest gourmet cook in the city. I'm happy to see people with an appreciation for good food!"
His bright smile does not fade, and he states htat he is the greatest gourmet cook with no arrogance. It is merely a fact. He is that darn good. "Come! How can I and my staff aid you?"

James made his choice, meanwhile, has approached the cook, "Can I get a steak with some salad?.. Perhaps, do you have any advise on what salad I should take with the steak?.. And it's pleasure to meet you in person, Mr. Base." He was not at all disturbed by his belly. Comes with being a gourmet cook, probably.

Robin takes a bite, before pointing over to Bullion "Ah mister, having a full stomach is half the fight, so I guess you're already doing a good job. But I guess giving some simple cooking advice might not be bad, if you are willing to share some secrets~" She says in a jokingly mysterious manner.

As Niko gets pets from Kate, she looks just a little bit awkward, looking from left to right and just letting it happen... when she has her steak, however, she happily starts to eat it! Trying to be polite and pace herself, but she doesn't know if her wolf body would be willing to pace itself...

Xue Fang gives a bow of her head to the chef, "Thank you for your hard work." His ... shape... is a bit disconcerting. Though everyone else seems to be fine with the chef's presence. The saying was - never trust the skinny cook. After all the other things that have gone on today, this would probably not be that out of sorts. So Xue Fang then quietly begins to eat as she listens to the conversations passing around. Nuke it and run, hm? Well that would turn out for an interesting fight. What sort of problems would these creatures cause - she wondered... oh well. At least she had food.

Kate pries herself from Niko and smiles to her.
"I think you look pretty cute! Don't worry about us being scared!"
Katelyn is pretty hungry, so she looks over the inn menu once more.

Nikki chuckled a bit when she saw Kate pet Niko. It was honestly ridiculously cute, and Nikki had to hold back smiling at it. Her food was really good; he definately deserved his title. She made a mental note to come back here when she had the money.

Chii quietly thanks the chef for the food, not wanting to attract much attention to herself - she has a rough idea of what the Chef may be, and doesn't want to get into a long discussion over what would likely amount to ancient politics and either grudges or lack thereof.
Besides which, she was a bit distracted, between the steak salad (which really was good) and Kate's antics toward Niko. Between bites, she turns towards Niko and speaks. "Perhaps the world would be better with more of those....undaunted?....as this one", referring to Kate, ", No?".

"Oh, definitely. The old days of bein' afraid of monsters are over. They... well, I guess WE now, are people too." Niko responds to Chii, and tries to get some more thoughts articulated... but she wasn't about to go talking about the state of being a creature when she's only literally been one for five minutes. She's still getting used to her tail!
"I'm afraid a nuke might be out of the budget if we did come across an Abomination, but hey, I'm all for learning how to gank more nasty things that murder innocent people."

Bullion smiles to James. "One Steak Salad with Arugula coming up. It is the house specialty. Just, a warning. It has garlic in it, so none of Demonic heritage can eat it, sadly. But it is quite delicious." He laughs. "Then again, I'm told some of the things I can do with Pomegranates are delicious, but it is something I can never taste!" He smiles to Robin. "And, for you, whatever secrets you desire. I'm always open for an apprentice. Even the Chiang Shih admire my cooking! Which is quite difficult, for multiple reasons."
Greta, meanwhile, shakes her head, amused. "I do have to say, you are certainly the most...interesting class that I have taught in a while. Though, I am officially moving the class on Abominations to the forefront. Other then that, I have an assignment for you to handle when we settle in. To welcome everyone to college, we are going to have a bit of a school fair. But, to do that, we will need a few more people. Say...five will do. As such, I want you all to try to meet five people from a list I will gather, and get them to attend the meta club. Also, Chii...I have a special task for you. There are rumors of cultist activity, and Black Magic practitioners who are plotting...something. Since this is your specialty, I would like you to look into things, though you can, of course, bring help."
Then she pauses, pulling out her tablet. "Now...this is strange. Chii and Kate have just been signed up for...every combat class we have. Ilujanka Baal is responsible. And...she's just donated ten million in solid silver to the college, along with offering her services as a guest teacher. Especially with Parkour. This...may be a problem. Well, on the plus side, at least you'll be able to defend yourselves..."
(All right, I'm going to move towards shifting this thread to Downtime. As soon as you all figure out what classes and such you want, we can have a timeskip, fate point refresh, and I can introduce the next quest: Finding everyone. Oh, and everyone has 10 total exp! Including Haunted.)

Chii was about to respond to Niko when Greta interrupts with her news; she pauses to listen. Then, her jaw drops open and her fork clatters to the table, with a bit of lettuce still stuck to it. She had been about to respond to the task put before her by Greta when the news of what Ilujanka Baal had done. It takes her a few seconds to remember to close her mouth, let alone concern herself with her salad.
"........QuĂȘ?"
It took her a few more seconds to actually start processing what what was being said. She was going to study biology and prepare for medical school....why was she being forced into combat classes by a Demon lord? Either the powerful Demonic warlord was getting back at her for their argument....or expected some kind of extreme danger to her and Kate. Possibly related to the cultists.

Katelyn looks up from the menu with a slightly frightened look.
"Wh-what? Combat...but I hate fighting! We can work our problems out without violence you know!"

Greta shrugs. "Ilujanka Baal apparently disagrees. And since she is going to be helping create the Baal building, along with the an entire shard that she's offering for training. So...yeah. I think you're going to have to deal with self defense courses. She's also enrolling another...ah. Rene, the Demoness of Paperwork, will also a guest classmate. Hm...that's...a bit larger then normal tuition..."

"I'm pretty sure I don't have a garlic allergy, contracted or inherited. My mother has often added some to her dishes, so I don't doubt I will handle it." He replied to Mr. Base.
His interest was piqued, when Greta, who is apparently the teacher responsible for the group, said something about that devil woman going to be a guest teacher... apparently, in combat classes. Not having any nifty combat training himself, and questioning himself whether or not he will have to fight, about which he will be still indecisive even if he made the choice, he spoke up, "Now that I see it... I'd like to sign up for combat classes, too." "Because Ilujanka seems to know something about that girl. I need to speak more about it... Now, that I think about it, it was bad when I snapped at her."

Robin is patting Kate's back "Oh, it might not be as bad as you think. Consider it a form of uh... sports class I suppose!" She says, snrking and trying to hold back a laugh, now Kate in fighting classes... that was bound to be an unique experience. Almost worth signing up for it herself to watch it.
