"Well this is perfect, a Teacher who has so much knowledge in her subject, that she can't even teach it!" Asgreth exclaims in annoyance.

Aphrodites smiles. "Oh...I know things. I know things that would scar your mind. I know the original ritual to create a Titan. I know things that have been lost for a million years. I know the secrets of Zeus, and how Chronos met his end. But...those are all stories for another day. You now know the danger of Titans, I know the secrets of the Seraphim. But, all of that is irrelevant. Now, it is time for you all to learn of Devourers. Unless we're out of time...I do need to check...
(Okay, we have two options. We can break for the 'day', and reset everyone's positions and all, close the thread, and start another one...or we can continue onto Devourers. At the least, new people can post and pop in now, and people can converse.)

"Yeah? Then actually teach us something instead of motor mouthing about how awful it is to be a member of the three most powerful species. One of which, must I remind you, I am one of."

She laughs. "Oh. Being a God is quite awesome. You have the Understanding, everyone listens to you, you can manipulate reality as you see fit, the mental connection means you always have someone to stay by your side." She twirls in place. "It's being a TITAN that has drawbacks. No...its' not even a drawback. After a while...you just...stop caring. You're mad, of course. Totally, completely mad. But...it doesn't matter anymore. You can do whatever you want. You're free to be with who you want, to kill who you want. And...the only person you are a slave to is yourself."
She smiles, and leans back in midair. "But...the Titans are not a foe that shoulld be faced by any mortal. THAT is the one thing I am trying to teach you. But...if you wish for something concrete. To identify a Titan, look for signs of mental corruption. Gods think in "Yes, No, Maybe". Titans, in general, have gone far into that loop. They think entirely in maybes, and cannot act unless they have ALL the information. THey are often paralyzed by indecision...or they simply wish to utterly destroy anything that interferes with that. The idea of a simple dichotomy is completely foreign to them. Others, meanwhile, are arrogant. They believe themselves completely indestructible, completely powerful. That all should bend to their will. In a normal God, this is foolishness and a weakness. In a Titan...they are scarily close to being right. After all, the only limit a God or Demon has to their power, is the energy they have to put forwards to accomplish it. And they have infinite energy. Though, I will admit they are not able to 'funnel' all that energy at once. But THAT is what you need to know about Titans. Well...one other trick. While it doesn't limit them, they grow progressively more insane the more power they use. So, in theory, you could try to drive them insane...but this will never stop them. Merely...change their strategy."
(What she's talking about in that last sentence, is while a Titan has no limit on Mentla Corruption...they still have a limit in Attributes. Any power which requires an ability of a certain rank, is still limited. FOr instance, a Titan with Metabolic 2 who used Transmog...would only have 2 shapeshifting points.)

"Bit of a dumb question, but has anyone ever tried helping a Titan that's gone completely off the rails?" Niko asks, leaning forward a bit. "Every option has gotta be considered. Why drop a nuke on a Titan when someone could bring them back from the brink? Well, unless their brains don't work like that."
"Wouldn't mind hearing about these Devourerers either."

Aphrodites looks silent, and thinks very carefully. "I do not know of one who has been salvaged. At best, they may be convinced to submit to a seal. But it is not possible to make them no longer a Titan, and most that would be met by now would be two far gone. It has been at least a million years since they were created, after all."
She nods. "But, I will leave things be to another, who will explain Devourers."

Glen blinks, pondering "I am not sure but that sounds like a conflict in moral. Is it... allright to take people out of commission ? Even Titans who seem to malfunction unless they commit serious crimes ?" Shi asks (Also for Devourers next.)

Xue Fang give an idle shrug, "Well if you think about it, the crazier they get, the more powerful they get. So you could probably get one crazy enough to try and destroy itself. Since crazy seems to be the currency here."

Aphrodites nods. "In this case, it's a necessity. Also, despite the...heated language we use, it is not actually standard procedure to kill a Titan. Instead, like all criminal Immortals, they are Sealed in a prison for the foreseeable future, until such a time as they have either atoned for their crimes, or a way to provide salvation has been attempted. Speaking of which, I do believe our next guest is nearby..."
A woman walks in. She's...wow. Not 'wow' in the sense of Aphrodites, who could likely make a bundle converting gay men straight...if she didn't convert straight women to lesbian as well. This is a 'wow' in the sense that she radiates power. She's not...conventionally pretty, but she certainly attracts attention. Dark hair, dark eyes, pale skin. But her eyes...they have seen dark, dark things. She's dressed in a blue policwoman's uniform, pants and not a skirt, with the Eye of Ra as her badge. She's holding a large backpack...and has a bucket with her.
She gives Aphrodites the finger. Aphrodites laughs...as the woman looks to the group. "Hold on one second." She pulls out the backpack, emptying what appear to be towels into it...and then takes Aphrodite's hand. Aphrodites steps into the bucket...and sinks down, disappearing.
The woman turns back. "I am Morrigan Nimean, the Washer at the Ford. Now...first of all...which of you is the Succubus?" She raises an eyebrow at Asgreth. "Huh...a Draconic Demon. Haven't seen those in a while."

Morrigan looks at Asgreth, and glares ."Tell me, Dragon...do you always snark off to your elders? Have you perhaps been reading the Files of Dresden? You should know that I, the Bloody Nightmare, am one who knows much knowledge. Including some useful spells...though useless to you, of course. Unless you wish to inform Nirvana of what you know?"

"I don't need to sit here and be patronized by the slaughterer of my people," Asgreth barks, rising from his seat and exiting the room in a huff. Just as he leaves, Asgreth snarls, "Go back to your shard and rot."

With a gasp of surprise, Glen stands up from hir seat. It was sadly the first that happened before shi even pondered any further action ahead, appearing fairly shocked. A few minutes later, shi finally speaks up "Sir, I think this is in an appropriate behaviour towards one of the college' staff." She says, albeit a bit timidly, but with obvious practice to her display.

Morrigan...doesn't respond, just looking away, and biting her lip. She clenches her fist, and tries to hold back an obvious rain of emotions. "Does...the class...wish to talk...about devourers." She...doesn't seem angry, per say. It's something else.

Xue raises her hand. "Yes, please." Then lowers it. Yeah. This is going to be an interesting class. Who gets disintegrated first - first paper to write for the teacher.
