Seduce? ... Impress? ... Ngh. Xue did not have time for this right now. "We'll handle it when it comes to it." She looks to the lawyer, "Listen, time's wasting. E-mail it to the club, asking Greta to print it out enough copies for us or something. She asked, so she shouldn't mind too much. If she does then she'll have to understand - we're trying to beat the press. Roll with us if you like, or not, but we have to get going." Right. Gotta get going. Now. Or else Taco hut press will be the least of Xue's frustrations. With that, Xue starts going towards the Taco Hut!

(Gonna scene change, for the sake of time)
And, when Xue and her companions get there, they find...a woman marching in front of the Taco Hut. Just the one. Youngish, with dyed blue hair, dressed in ripped t-shirt and jeans, both in black. Very goth look to her. What's interseting is, except for the hair, she looks like she could clean up quite easily. Were she in a nice dress or a skirt, she'd look like a girl next door.
She's...marching around with a sign showing a picture of a zombie, saying "Save the Ghouls". "Save the Ghouls! Free rights for infectees! Down with Immortal Tyranny! Restore bodies to families!"
She turns around. "Did you hear about how the Immortals treated people infected with a deadly virus! And Psyche supporst them! They haven't even looked into treatment options! The bodies are ritualistically destroyed!" She points the sign at the group...and keeps up, shifting the weight. She's decently strong.

Alexis watches the protest with the party at a distance for a few moments, her arms crossed. "...So... you were in a hurry to find... these people. Just what were you trying to do, again?"

And here Nikki was expect one of two things. The first was a well-informed, civicly minded activist who had a good future in advocacy. The second a dedicated girl who made up for not having deep knowledge with drive and heart. Well, it seemed it was the later of the two in a way, but... way more conspiracy theory. Nikki knew little about Gravemold Infection, other than it was bad to get... obvious from the name; however, it wasn't very difficult for Nikki to sense a conspiracy theory with the whole 'immortal tyranny' thing.
Nikki blinked for a few moments, and said "Um... maybe?" Nikki told her "Listen, maybe you could move this protest somewhere else? Not because of the establishment or whatnot, but there's an incoming faux-journalist with the IQ of a waffle and more misinformation than the National Enquirer headed your way."

Something about this woman must be punched. Something. Somewhere. Wants to punch this particular woman. It wouldn't possibly be Xue, no. That would be counter-productive. "... We have a few questions, if you'd like to represent the Meta Club in an upcoming... event." No. Not a punch. Maybe an axe kick. Was it all goths that bugged Xue? Or just this one? Gah. Like stories of ninjas wearing all black. Seriously. It was so tacky, stood out like a .. nevermind. Alright. "You might could be an interesting.. spokesman.. for the situation - if things go well here."

Leah puts down the sign. "Then...it is our duty to fight the reporter, and prove his foolishness! I will stop him from whatever idiodicy he wants to do! In the name of JUSTICE ACTIVISM!"
She smiles. "Besides, the best way to stop a blogger is a COUNTER BLOG. So...who do we know who can help? 'Cause I got a history of helping! My school helped get a bill put forwards to CONGRESS!"

Yeah. This was going to be a thing. "Hm. The majordomo of the club is named Greta. I think she might be able to help you the most. The most information, goals, virtues, that sort of thing. Think you could go there and get the ground work started for a blog? We have to keep rolling if we're going to get ahead of the ah.. .. uh... blogger." Xue finished rather lamely. It was true though.

Alexis stifles what could be either a groan or a growl as Leah shares her history of helping. "You're recruiting this... activist... to represent the Meta Club in social media?" the gorgon sounds incredulous as she jabs a thumb at Leah. "Are there commendations I don't know about that aren't on display here? Because this is looking like a bucket of gasoline for your proverbial house fire."

Nikki was a bit incredulous, but stayed on topic "Well, the issue is that the guy is probably going to arrive before asking crazy questions in the first place."
Actually, Nikki was starting to harbor her own worries. The whole kumiho thing the heiress could berated over might not fly with just about any activist type, but she could definately see Adrian latching onto the conspiracy theories.

"At this point, I think it would be just better to regroup in one place and then plan our next action. The social attacks and investigations are coming, so close ranks, form the story and view we wish to present, and move with that. We cannot form a proper plan of action with everyone spread out. So let's gather our list before the media gets started on a firestorm." Xue Fang looks to Leah, "Think you can meet with Greta at these coordinates? I'm sure it will be an interesting time."

Leah pouts, and looks at Alexis in shock. "Hey! I will have you know, after my good friend Marcie got injured in high school, I was directly responsible for starting the petitions, protests, and other things necessary to get the Cheerleader Protection Act HR505 passed! The act was directly responsible for Cheerleading being declared a sport for the purpose of Athlete safety, and setting the regulations necessary to keep cheerleaders from being injured! Including setting mat height to 12 inches, preventing grievous injury! Not to mention insuring timely insurance payouts..."
She looks to the rest. "And, yeah....that makes a good point. Well, I'll just pack this protest in, and follow you guys, okay? I can figure out a better thing to look into later. Justivism will never die! We just need to pick a new target."
She stands next to the group. "So where to next?"

"I am surrounded by lunatics." Nikki thought. Was the entire Community that insane? Well, she'd agreed to at least talk about joining up, if not outright agreed to.
"What about Jennifer Summers?" she asked.

"Let's get rolling. Faster we get this done, the faster we can go back to doing other things." Xue says with a bit of fatigue. Social stuff. Blegh. "Alright. So back to the main campus to figure out where she is?"

Leah raises a hand. "Actually, Jennifer apparently stays at some family owned inn or something. Never gave away the NAME, though. Either that, or she's doing swim practice solo. I think she uses a privately owned pool for it. I got the address? Stopped by once or twice, but it's got DRACONIAN entry requirements!"

"Draconian as in blood of dragons or just tedious?" Xue says, looking back to Leah. "Also... good job."
