Xue's master plan was not really planned, or masterful. She was actively trying to figure out where the gentleman lived. Once achieved, to investigate his household without permission. In other words, break in, and snoop. "Are you sure you want to come along?" She asks after a beat, making sure before they got this ball rolling.

Celia smiled, and went "Buh duh dun dun dun. Inspector Gadget. Buh duh dun dun dun. Whoo hoo! Buh duh dun dun dun. Inspector Gadget. Buh duh dun dun dun... dun dun. Go Gadget, go!"
... She was going to sing the whole Inspector Gadget theme song if nobody stopped her.

A ... sneaking theme? Isn't that.. counter intuitive? Alright. Well if they had to have one - "Metal Gear Solid." She said in response and rolls out with the crew! "Someone as nasty as that reporter, he could cause some real harm, real fast. They might be able to talk him down for now. So we're going to look for something that will help us shut him down for good. That might destroy his reputation, or at least get him to cool his heels. If he had gotten to that Lunarian first, a lot of people could get hurt. They still could."

Celia shrugged "So, I guess we have to find out if he's doing anything illegal. Preferably something where liberal use of channeling is a reasonable solution. Buuuuut something tells me that isn't the case. So, uh... they said something about the Rock of the Ages, right? That's like the anti-psychic version of the KKK. You could possibly put him on damage control, right?"
After hearing Kate's response, she launched into a fit of giggles "Good one! Like you really don't know what Metal Gear Solid is!"

"He's probably still in it. I think he's got more skeletons in the closet than he's willing to admit." Xue continues driving, going as she is able. She uses what references she has over the home of the reporter, including old law suits that would likely be in city records because someone with a bone like this to pick probably has been sued once or twenty times. "Some of them might not be nice ones. Worst case scenario, we don't find it where we're looking."

(Okay, moving this along, as it has stalled a bit)
Xue is soon able to head out, with Celia and Kate in tow. They soon arrive at their destination. Adrian's residence, in an upscale area of town, though currently without many people. Clear enough that a skilled person could get in and out unnoticed...probably.
Residence is the correct term...as it's not a house. Instead, it's a restaurant, with a 'closed for renovations' sign on it, and everything. It appears to be a cultural mix, showcasing the mini different foods of America. Not just burgers and fries. Cheesecake, Fried Green Tomatoes, Chicago-Style pizza, Lobster Newberg, New Orleans Shrimp, dumplings venison, and Apple Pie.
His residence is on the upper floor, it looks like. An apartment complex above the restaurant. Probably lives alone. A perfect target...probably.

Xue .. keeps driving! She goes around a bit longer, finding a discrete place to park out of the way. "Alright." She says, looking to her ... team, "So we need to get the power first. I was thinking about trying to get it for the block before we move in. That should keep any other cameras that may notice our approach as well as the building itself. Assuming this guy doesn't use magic himself - which would be pretty damaging to his reputation, removing power from the block should make it easier." She reaches into the glove compartment, taking out a package of gum. "That means.. just finding it." She crafted things. A lot of things. Most of them were dealing with electronics. More than once she had to hack into security systems or foil complicated measures. It just meant knowing what to do. Calling on her prior experience in the field, she tried to figure out where the power node would likely be.

Xue is easily able to user her extensive crafting knowledge, to figure out the most likely place for a power node. Slightly outside the area, probably underground, so that people can't mess with it. Should be easy. Just hop into the sewers, and flip the switch. In, out...five minutes, tops. And, she has allies with her who can help. There's a sewer grate nearby, too. She just needs a light.

Hm. Well, usually keep an emergency roadside kit in the car. Tire iron, jack, aaaand a flashlight in case of a break down during night. So she takes it out of the glove box. "ALright. We can go ahead and take care of that, and we should be good to go. Ready?" She says, looking to the others. If they say nothing of particular hesitancy, she gets out of the car and gets started!

With that, Xue leads the intrepid adventuring party to the sewers! Part of her Road Side Emergency kit includes: a flashlight. Armed with visibility and a team, she goes bravely into the dark to make it... uh.. dark everywhere else.
