Piper Costas was a planned recruit for the meta club. However, she has decided to help Adrian with his plan instead. At least she didn't help that insane blogger Torben. Still, it's something important to talk to her about. Especially since she's planning to unveil a wooden sculpture she did, that is apparently her Magnum Opus. She's in the main quad of the school, in as public a place as possible.

"S-so... the plan is, to talk to her, it is?" Millie looks back at the other club members with an awkward smile. Without much time to delve, she was stuck with her grimoire of magic. Hopefully, she wouldn't need even that. "We're gonna talk to her," she says again, to herself. Then, she looks back again, mouth slumped. "What are we gonna say?"

...Millie appear to be alone. Maybe Chii could help?

"...O-Oh. You're not--ah, right. Sorry." Millie licks her lips and tugs at the collar on her coat, flipping it up. She looks around for a bit, then starts walking into the center of the plaza, her staff dragging along the ground as she walks. "Hello? Piper? I'm supposed to be talking to a Piper? Hello? Can we talk?"

Chii walks in behind Millie, catching up to her after having spoken alone to Greta. "I assume that people are here to see this Piper person, yes?"

Delphi arrived at the site of Piper's planned unveiling of her latest wooden sculpture. She looked around for something covered in easily removable cloth, and, hopefully, a girl near it.

Sure enough, they can see...well, it's incredibly obvious where Piper is. In the middle of the main quad, a life-size...something, vaguely human shaped, is covered by a huge tarp. They can see a few camera-men, including the club's theoretical ally Mika Kwan, along with a camera-man who is with the same network as Adrian.
Piper herself, dressed in a simple smocked, jeans, and a T-shirt under it, along with a nice beanie that looks quite stylish, is sitting there soaking up the attention, and talking with the crowds. "Yes, yes....we'll be doing the unveiling in a few minutes. Soon as Adrian gets here. Yes, I got the school's permission and filled out the forms. No, nobody knows what it is. Can I give a hint? Well...I suppose. It's the true soul of an artist!" She smiles brightly, and confidently.

"Oh!" Millie exclaims aloud when she spies Piper talking to the crew. "That's... hm. That's a lot of cameras." The magus starts to move to Piper, but turns away, going in a few jerky circles before getting a hold of herself. With a determined huff, Millie braces her shoulders and moves up behind Piper, taking off her hat and holding it to her chest. Assuming she is not stopped, the magus timidly taps Piper on the shoulder with her staff. "Hello?"

Piper smiles at the timid magus, and looks over the rest of the people gathered. The demon, the gorgon, and all the others. She adjusts her beret, and bows. "Greetings! Are you all here for the exhibition! Well, you're just in time. I'll be starting in a little bit. Soon as that last member of the press gets here...though, maaaybe I could get started early. Where is Adrian, anyway?"

As Piper's eyes pass by Alexis, the gorgon looks back at her menu from the cafe across the block. So what if she'd to come watch the new exhibit? It wasn't collusion if she came on her own. And she certainly wasn't going to get involved. It was... just in case. And besides, it was good to support the arts. Self-affirmed, Alexis avoids looking back at the exhibit, taking a sip from her raspberry lemonade and turning another page of the newspaper she'd picked up.

"Adrian?" Millie cocks her head. "I'm afraid I don't know that name." She blinks, and looks behind her for a moment. "Oh, wait, that's right! His name just came up at the club. Oh! Excuse me, Piper? I am Millie Rounds, and I'm with the Meta Club! They asked me to speak to you! So... um... are you having a nice day?"

"Oh, right, you're the one with who think storybook dryads are the same as real ones, are you? I'm sorry, but real dryads can be considered people crippled by poison. They're unable to use any magic or abilities, and have physical limitations that they cannot possibly overcome. Those who manage to fight off the poison are called Oreads, and something like a 1 in 10,000 possibility. There's, apparently, 13 Oreads, total." Delphi informs Piper.

Eamon bustled into the quad, still buttoning his jacket. The latest paper on independent cell reproduction had claimed so much of his attention, he had almost missed this press release. That would have been a mistake; there's no point in attending the most psychically diverse school on the planet unless you kept yourself involved in the goings-on thereof, and at the moment, the most interesting thing going was the "Meta Club." To a scientist, interest was tantamount to knowledge.
Besides, anything important enough to warrant a press release was important enough to check out himself.
Straightening out his shirt, he finally looked around, spotting the crowd of people and cameras. One of these people was very clearly a Gorgon, while another appeared to have branches growing out of them.
Eamon loved this school.
"Am I too late? Is it over?" he asked as he reached the group. "Was the... uh, art thing impressive? Could it advance our knowledge of how psychics work?"

Piper...gives a very exagerated shrug. "Whew...I kinda thought that a bunch of dryads would steal my job. Or crucify me...I make wood sculptures."
That's when her cell phone beeps, and she suddnely lets out a yelp. "NOT COMING! Well...darn. Um...Ooh! New idea."
She turns to the asssorted groups. "Well, I have some bad news. Adrian isn' tcoming. But we DO have some members of the Meta Club who are here. At least, I assume. Perhaps they can answer your questions, I'll assist, and when it's done. You'll all see my brand, new, revolutionary sculpture!"
Mika Kwan, for her part, steps up, and pulls out her microphone. She winks to Delphi. "Well, first off, ma'am. Since you seem to be an expert on Dryads, why not tell us about yourself? Anyone else who can assist in learning more about our supernatural cousins, can certainly help!"
Looks like it's time for the Meta Club to do publicity...
(No social rolls unless you want, this is ENTIRELY roleplay!)

Chii, looking somewhat bemused by the scene (and glad Adrian has been distracted), raises her hand.
"I think that use of 'supernatural cousins' to refer to other sapient species, of varying relationships to humanity, with differences may suggest the need for assistance, no?" Especially, she did not add, with HER species, given the silly rumors about orgies of darkness and everything.
