Chii, unsurprisingly, facepalms at Celia's...strange...suggestion. "...Celia, when you hear hoofbeats, you expect donkeys before zebras, and zebras before unicorns, no?"....possibly forgetting for a moment that this particular area did not have very many more donkeys or zebras than it did unicorns. Or that, for all she knew, Celia might think a sinister soup kitchen conspiracy was more likely than a serial killer or a mad scientist seeking out those who 'proper' society would not miss.
She then turns to Millie and nods before turning to Lenore. "That would be helpful, yes? Also...did you know them well enough to know if they had anything in common aside from being homeless - did they routinely visit a specific part of the city, were they all of a certain age, race, gender, or ethnicity, did they have similar personality traits, anything that could identify them as a particular subgroup?"

(Shit...I'm 9 days late! Everyone gains 1 Fate Point and 1 EXP)
Lenore moves to respond, before pausing...and suddenly realizing something. "Scarily enough? Yes, to the...leprechaun's...I swear, I though they were extinct. To the Leprechaun's stories. There have been...rumors, about a man known as "Dr. UKN", who frequents, well...fifth and ninth, near a certain warehouse. The warehouse has been abandoned for a while. Apparently, it was owned by a fishing company that went out of business after the masquerade dropped. It was a deep sea company, and once the Lemurians could explain themselves, they were able to reach the areas easier. Apparently, they'd...just been eating them all. Now the warehouse is just used for homeless people. And, all of them were from that same general area, now that I think of it. Other then that...well, nothing that I can think of in common. Other then the standard, They were all homeless, poor, and hungry. None of them had any relatives...so they were all people who wouldn't be missed."
She thinks carefully. "The main one I can think of, is Carlos. Nice guy, actually Spanish. Used to serve in the military, but he got out on an honorable discharge. He...smoked a lot, and it damaged his lungs. Horse voice, always wore his beret. Does...that help? I'd offer something they used or had...but none of them had anything."

"Beret is good. I can find a person in a beret." Millie looks back to the entrance. "So now we go to the warehouse? I'll start scrying once we're there, maybe we'll find something to track then."

"Looks like we've got your typical unscrupulous super scientist or shaper type on our hands." Celia mentioned, giving a shit-eating grin to Chii, who'd denied any supervillian activity just moments earlier.
She looked back to Lenore, "And I'm actually human. It's just my family has an odd talent. Don't worry, happens aaaaaaaall the time."

Chii nods to Lenore, and does not look at Celia. "Zebras it is, then. Thank you, this may be of help." She turned to Millie. "That is sensible. And if the area is frequented by the homeless, then maybe one of them would know, or perhaps it is not impossible that we would catch this 'Dr. UKN'," she snorts at the name, "in the act, yes?"

"Alright!" Millie exclaims. "I mean... I'm ready to go when you are! And, um, when Celia is."

(Good news! I am no longer distracted by shiny objects...)
The group, after far, far too long, makes their way to the warehouse. When they get there, the first thing that strikes them..is the van in front of it. It's, well...it's hard to make a van any more suspicious. It's a pure white van, marked with a large symbol of a dragon, coiled within a circle. The company, is marked AuLong, complete with the Kanji. Apparently, it's some company logo.
Outside of it, a man dressed in a labcoat, his hair slicked back, and generally looking like a scientist trying his best to be respectable, despite...almost never getting out of the lab, looks around. He is at least well-shaven, but has some cleaned cuts on his face, and...a couple of popped pimples, despite being about in his thirties. The man enters the warehouse, and is gone.
Well...they definitely found something.

Millie steps ahead of the group, overseeing the new locale with interest. "Oh, hey! Maybe that guy's... seen..." She stops, frowning. "Actually, maybe you guys should talk to him. I'm just gonna... I'll stay back here and observe. I mean, scry. Is that okay?" Something was off-pattern to this; Millie quietly rehearses her magic in anticipation for what might be to come.

Celia avoided acting too suspicious of the man, but Celia was already pegging him to be a mad scientist. Maybe.
A coiled dragon was pretty high on the suspicious logo list, after all.

Chii pauses and looks at the van and the obviously-some-type-of-scientist-or-doctor who exited it for the warehouse.
"Millie....we should pause for a minute anyway to think, observe, and perhaps plan in any case before going in, no?"
Chii wonders about the name and logo on the van..AuLong...she searches her memory to see if the name is a familiar medical research group or company.

Celia takes out an iPad bigger than her purse out of her purse. What could she possibly be doing. Looking at the AuLong website. Wait, is that an anime and manga site? And are those pictures of logos.
... This may just be a new low for Celia.
((Celia rolls Perception 2 to crossreference the AuLong logo with various hero and villian animanga organization logos. Ideally, she'd be able to determine how heroic, villianous, or other things it is, but she'll also attempt to divine whatever other thing she can with it, like the nature of villianous or heroic organizations with similar logos, modus operendai, ect. She also uses her ShonenWorld app for a +2. Also, invoking Manga and Anime: Hero Training for another +2, because why the hell not. So that's a base 6)) 3zVLHl3Y···

While the others perform their own research, Millie backs away--not out of shyness this time, but to get a wider anger of view, as her eyes go wide, and her pupils dilate and shrink erratically. She licks her lips nervously as her head darts back and forth.
[[Millie attempts another Past Viewing, to try to see an unusual pattern of people being taken or attacked in this area.]]

Chii can actually remember having seen the AuLong logo back home. Apparently, they help make a nutritional paste, that is currently being checked to see if it can be utilized in some low-income areas. Nasty stuff, but it fills you up. Not officially approved for wide distribution yet, they're a relatively new company. Celia, meanwhile, actually gets a hit. It's...quite similar to the logo used by the tournament in Endless Tourney, the set of extreme fighting games, well known for their ultra-violence. In fact, it's exactly 1/4th of the logo, which consists of four entwined dragon heads. It's a fun game, you can rip a guy's head off and beat him to death with it! It doesn't seem physically possible, but you can. Apparently, there's a new movie that came out last week, directed by Ewe Troll, called "Rage of the Tiger". It stars award-winning actor Charles Fenris, who runs his own school of martial arts dojos. It involves him fighting off a horde of evil Chinese Ninjas, eventually defeating their leader, The Steel Tiger, and marrying his daughter. Very Americo-Centric. All the bad guys are minorities, all the good guys are Caucasians, and there is some criticism for having the Tiger's Daughter played by a Caucasian, but he Steel Tiger played by a Chinese-American. Shandong born, actually. Didn't Xue Fang mention something about the movie pissing her off? Something about it being based on her life... As for Millie, she succeeds easily, getting a mental image of the scientist walking in just last week, and walking out with about five homeless men, before handing him a large contract, and motioning for them to sign. They sign, get in the truck, and he drives off. And, come to think of it...he's walking out right now...with five homeless men, and a large contract for each.
