Name: Addy
Race: Android
Defining Aspect: Less than human, playing a game of pretend
Ambitions: I just want to make it home…
Background: Armies laid to waste and lives thought lived, but never happened
-Addy’s life has primarily consisted of being built, being tested, and battling. She does however believe she had a different life, the life of the scientist's daughter, however she of course never lived that life, it never happened, even if she thinks it does.
Convictions: I am myself, and no one else is
Disadvantages: [SYSTEM PROGRAM START-TOTAL OVERRIDE ENGAGED-BEGIN FINAL PROGRAM]
-Addy consists of several AIs rather than just one, the other AIs being collectively called the Overrides. When in situations of stress or primarily in combat situations, the Overrides will begin to shut her down as they boot up and get into actions. Noticeable symptoms of Overrides include-Repetitive speech, inability to really comprehend social situations, blackouts, loss of memory, inability to form coherent memories, as well as things such as extreme focus, and being primarily concerned with either self defense, or taking down a target.

Expert Advantages 0/3
Let this end…: Everything in her screams not to fight even as her body prepares for the worst. +2 to talking someone down from battle before it’s too late
Every shot counts, unless none do: Bullets flying through the air constantly, there’s no time to think. No time to notice, only to act. Either you get shot, or you do not. Only those who can move quick enough will realize this, those that don’t never got the chance. +1 to defending against firearms.
Never again: When you're tied up and all hope is lost, you learn to loathe those bonds. You learn to make sure they can never hold you again. Not while you still breath. +1 to escaping capture.
Heroic Advantage:
Tenacious – Each Mental Consequence you take reduces the Stress of that Attack by +1. (2AP)

End Results: Constant Armor rating of 2
Imbue Creature: Self-Only, Defensive Projectiles Experimental Type AD-2 (P)
Ranged Power Attack: Repetitive, WR 2
Linked: Forced-Link, these powers activate together at Difficulty 6 (no extra cost)
6 AP total
Description: Allows a +2 or reroll on attacks or defense, and can be used in range with a weapon rating of 2, to activate this a roll of 6 must be made, but after that it is constant and does not need to be redone for the rest of the scene no matter how often it's used
Equipment/Various Items:
Worn Pistol (WR 1): A quite heavily worn simplistic pistol. No identifying features other than its strange lack of any such features, beyond burnt lines that look like electrical damage. Smells like gunpowder and burnt metal.
Dirty Backpack (R 1): An old dirty backpack. Its partially worn and likely won’t last much longer, but it still has some stuff in it. Smells like gunpowder and dirt.
Pouch of Wires (R 0): As stated, a pouch of wires. They’re mostly useless, none of them seem to connect to normal ports, and there is no brand markings on them. Could be useful for scrap.
Prosthetic Arm? (R 0): It’s an arm. The hand looks eerily human like, with strips of a rubbery material that looks like human flesh hanging from it and along the arm it's attached to. The arm is a mess of wires and metal rods, smells like burnt rubber and cooked circuits. Addy isn’t sure why she has this.
Large Tube? (R 0): Looks like some sort of tube. Too many dents in it though, it's not straight anymore. Seems like you could probably have put something down it though, and seems like there’s a firing mechanism on it. Broken beyond repair. Addy doesn’t remember where she got this.
Black Bent Rifle (R 0): Looks like a powerful rifle. Or at least, it might’ve been. Barrel is bent out of shape, firing mechanism seems to be trashed. Bunch of burnt metal is stuck to it too, seems to be in roughly the shape of a hand. A few black ribbons hang from the end of the barrel, and from towards the back of the barrel. They have no signatures on them. Addy doesn’t like looking at this.
Pouch of Disks, Circuits, and the like (R 0): Just as the name says. Who knows what’s on them. No system seems to be able to read them properly if at all. The closest that can be gotten is disjointed data, corrupted information, and security warnings. Addy really doesn’t want to look at these.
Broken Pistols (R 0): A collection of broken pistols. Most seem to have been burnt, or even partially melted in jagged strips. Some show signs of having been physically crushed, or ripped apart. Addy seems almost proud of them for some reason.
Backstory:
Once upon a time, there was a project based on the natural continuation of war weaponry. Removing the human element more and more, and this is the logical continuation. Replacing human soldiers with robots that may be mass produced to battle in their place. Now one scientist in particular….was not in it for the war machines. He just wanted to work on his plans for androids and strong AI, which was something he loved, even if he didn’t like what all that work was being used for, at least he got the funding he needed to do it. Now the one thing that he loved as much and perhaps more than that? Telling his daughter all about it and helping foster her love of science as well. Eventually, he even brought her to work with him, so that she could see what he made too. Management was of course not pleased, but with him working harder than ever before it was somewhat hesitantly allowed.
While all of this had been happening, another experiment had been going on. Specifically, what happens when some of the strong AI units that had been made are left alone by themselves with no human contact? After a while without too many interesting results, the experiment ended and the containment area was opened up, with the scientists perfectly expecting to just take the units back under their command. They were the first casualties. The now rogue units tried fighting their way out of the facility, taking out more and more of the unprepared employees. The original scientist, once he realized what was going on, knew there was no way he could get out of the facility, certainly not safely and with his daughter. Of course, being one of their top researchers meant he at least had access to something useful. He may not be a tactician, but he was the best he had at the moment, as such, he activated the older units he had at hand and the half finished prototypes and prepared to hold the fort in his own lab.
The battle was not exactly in the best place to have one, though at least since there was only one way in the rogue units were funneled through the door, and they held out for quite some time. That however was not to last, a suicide bomber unit crashed in and detonated, taking out many of the units under the scientists command. The rogue’s having the upper hand for a moment, rushed into the room. They were ultimately fought back and eventually the battle was over. Then the scientist realized something. His hand hurt, and he felt something rather wet. During the chaos, a single bullet had managed to reach him, passing straight through his hand…and into his entirely too pale daughter. When security and such finally started making a sweep through the place to clean up the last of the rogues and check to see who survived, they found the scientist in his lab, sobbing and cradling the dead body of his daughter, surrounded by the surviving units under his command, none of them understood what was going on, but they all knew their beloved commander was not well anymore.
The company gave everyone some time off, both to let the workers get a chance to recover after that and to try and patch things up, though the scientist kept working. He worked day and night, always the first one into the lab and last one out, assuming he even left at night. Fast forward a few years, and while the scientist has been keeping up with the work quota….they notice that he’s not putting out as much work as all this effort would suggest, as such, an investigation was launched. What they find is that without their knowledge, he had been building a new unit, one the likes of which had never been seen before. It was powerful, and replicated humans much further than any other unit before, even seemingly having a will to live…….and the scientist saw it as his new daughter. The management saw it as their new weapon. She was sent to battle testing, and soon true warfare against the scientists wishes, dealing devastating attacks in combat and surviving wounds that would cause any human soldier or even robotic to fall. Addy as she became known as however, or more accurately something called her Override functions, knew that this wasn’t what she was made for, what she was programmed to want, and eventually escaped. She ran and ran, Override eventually shutting down till it was just Addy, running from demons and fears she didn’t even know about, far from anyone she knew or cared about. And thus, one day in a little town wanders in what seems to be a normal human girl, though the fear in her eyes and the tattered rags she wears along with the gun in hand implies anything but normal
