The day of the fair has arrived, along with the school debate. Everyone who is anyone is attending, including a few people who aren't anyone. Greta has gathered the people of the Meta Club together. It's time to get everyone in one room, and see what they're going to do at the school fair. The only problem is...
This can, in many instances, resemble the herding of cats.
Mio would be an easy catch, curled up in a chair with her eyes fixed upon a game console in her hand. She waited with little attention on those around her at the moment. She slowly leaned closer to the screen as she played, coming close to falling in were it possible.
Felix, meanwhile, is one of the cats needing to be herded. Sure, he's fiddling with putting a wire puzzle together, but he's also trying to walk away and spend time working as a smith. Or at least get back to a forge.
And for another three people? There was Nikki, Celia, and Roselyn. Today, for once, they'd all managed to arrive at the Meta Club at the same time. Nikki had already gotten to thinking on a few ideas, naturally, while Celia was playing one of the game consoles. Most likely, the channeler was going to wing a few ideas. Last, predictably, Roselyn had fallen asleep on the couch. No telling what ideas she had.
(I'll be using one account until stuff I actually have to roll for shows up)
The door to the room gives a resounding *THUD*. The dreaded noise continues as whatever's trying to get inside continues to rail against the door. Moments later whatever it is seems to figure out the door knob as the knob begins to rattle as though something with inhumane appendages begins to attempt to open the door... Eventually.... the knob turns as a shuffling mass squeezes through the door. It's almost formless mass unsteadily moves into the room.....
Before tripping over and sending clothes and costumes of different sizes everywhere. Smart money's guess is that it's Seina though the pile of clothes gives no indication one way or the other. They seem to already have a good idea of how to contribute to the fair in any case and the reason for the trouble with the door becomes apparent with the sheer volume of clothes. However, how they managed to carry all these clothes here and why she didn't use a Shard instead remains a mystery.
In any case, Seina doesn't seem to be intent on moving having managed to get here.......
Millie is sitting along the wall, her legs tucked in, head bowed. Her hair's been cut recently, and now sits at chin length. It's also been died dirty blonde, making her weird, ethereal pallor look more sickly than fey. She's... watching something on a smart phone, and giggling to herself.
At that point, two figures walk in. One of them is smiling brightly, her red hair combed perfectly. Jessica Kara, the Girl Next Door, walks in and looks over the crowd. She seems about to say something to Felix, when she sees Seina. "Omigosh! Are you okay? Um...do you need any help?" She starts picking up clothes, her bright smile never fading. "Um...I take it you're into cosplay? Do you have a Seras Victoria cosplay in here, perchance? My friend Rena is a big fan of that, and she's got a fun Alucard cosplay she worked on. I kinda had to sneak episodes past my parents. It's a bit violent for my tastes, but a lot of work was put into it."
The other, a young woman dressed in what appears to be 'generic witch' cosplay, complete with a black pointy hat and robes, walks in and heads over to Mio. She looks down at Mio's game. "Whatcha playing?"
Seina, despite expectations, does not burst into immediate chatter in response to Kara's inquiry. In fact, it seems Seina doesn't have a response at all. Once Kara removes enough clothes however, it becomes apparent that she's decided now's a good time to take a nap. Be it due to staying up all night preparing clothes, spending too much time with Roselyn, or her already existent tendency to not fair well in mornings, it seems her only responsenis to snore at Kara.
On the plus side, Kara does find the aforementioned cosplay costume digging in the pile. In addition, it seems Seina decided to dress as Arc of Tsukihime fame, though where Kara notices or not is up to her own knowledge and observation.
Felix tries to take this opportunity to make a break for the door, only to notice that there's new people standing in his way. He then turns to move into a position where he has an easier chance of finding an opportunity to leave the room. All the while fiddling with his wire threads.
Alexis stands just outside the doors that Jessica and friend came in through. Though dressed more casually, in a soft blue blouse and a faded orange vest, her natural features make her almost as difficult to approach. For further measures, Alexis is clearly wearing a bluetooth headset. She's not taking any calls, but looks just as distracted. Without her planner or phone, the gorgon seems unsure of where to put her hands; they move from a cross-armed position to resting on her hips, only to switch back again a minute later. Her eyes scan the passing crowds, but don't focus on anyone in particular.
"Wait, are we all wearing cosplays for this!?" Nikki exclaimed.
Roz woke up, and yawned, "Hmm, what's the theme for cosplay?"
Celia jumped up, "Oooh! I call Sakuna Shinmyoumaru!" She could fit costume, at least.
Nikki sighed, "Whatever. As long there's minimal show of skin for me." Knowing her luck, she was probably going to wear something like Judith's costume, considering she wielded a spear.

Chii walks in, wearing sensible boots and a simple green one-piece dress. IF she wore a hat and had a sword and shield (and bow, and boomerang, etc) she might pass for an unusually demonic Hero of Hyrule, but she has naught else but a backpack. She looks around, does a brief double-take when she sees Millie, then walks towards her.
Meanwhile, in the distance there is the low rumble of a diesel engine, soon cut off.

Jessica Kara, for her part, pokes Seina, before frowning...and then walks over, not to the new people, but to Fenix, extending her hand to the dwarf. She does frown at Seina for a second, but shakes it off. She smiles at Fenix. Her face is...beautiful, enough to distract pretty much anyone close by. It's not an obvious beauty. It's a quiet confidence, a look in her eyes. She also has an...innocence about her. And a kindness. "Hi. I'm Jessica. You...aren't good with people, I take it? Maybe I could help you feel more comfortable? I like your stuff."
Dima, in the back, waves to Casey. "Yo! Kitsune? You got any ideas on how to get someone off a game system?"
"Hey Chii!" Millie says, not looking up. "I'm ready to go in a minute, my phone should run out of battery pretty soon." As Millie speaks, the phone plays a pixelated, grainy tune, supplemented by the mew of kittens. Millie smiles, but out of familiarity, rather than humor.
