Robin and Haunted soon arrive at the nearest grocery store to the Laughing Nymph. It is actually of decent size, and kept up rather well. The Community takes care of its own, and it has a certain quality that most family owned grocery stores lack. It's almost the equal of many name brand grocery stores, primarily due to financing by, well, the Families. In addition, it's been experimenting with new methods of transportation, and one of the first minor grocery stores to experiment with opening relations with Yomi and Nirvana, though the relations with Yomi have mainly been in opening affiliations with a pet store, and there have been some difficulties due to the simple fact that Yomi doesn't want to use goods from Nirvana, and vice versa.
Behind the counter, is the smiling face of Alice Carroll, the daughter of the owner. She's...rather quirky. She's dressed in a simple skirt and blouse, making her look fit for an office, though her sleeves have been rolled up, revealing the athletic build she possessed in her arms. Her blue hair is pinned back in a ponytail, and sighs as she looks down at her small chest. "Wish I could cut loose while at work, but nooo...it scares the customers. Stupid dad. "We're supposed to be natural mimics" my rear." She blinks once, as her eyes turn to yellow slits, and then back. "I canNOT wait until my shift is up. At least we don't have a shipment of Vegemite due...I mean, having to laugh as they unload the crate? Weirdest. Delivery. Ever."
She opens a glass of milk, receipt attached, and quietly sips it.

Robin pushes the door open as she enters the grocery store, taking a look around as she waits for Haunted to enter the store aswell
"I hope whoever it was got it from this one. They definately do beat the small store around the corner at my old place...not bad" She comments as her eyes wander around, pushing her glasses up a bit.

Haunted follows quite close behind, more transparent and difficult to see than usual. "Hopefully...." She says quietly, mostly just staying hidden behind Robin.

Alice at the front waves frantically. She doesn't say anything...just waves like an idiot. A complete, and utter, idiot. Meanwhile, in the back, near the Deli, they can hear a faint voice, though likely loud up close, talking to someone about "Know me better man", or something to that effect. One of the people here is a dickens fan? Huh.

Robin raises an eyebrow at Alice's display, wondering to herself if they already began to replace store employees with small uprights, while making her way to the Deli first, or atleast come closer, to listen in on them... as she browses the products there. She was already there so why not actually do some shopping at that.

As Robin moves, Alice actually yells. "Hey! No ignoring me. You and the..wow. Is that a ghost? I...haven't ever actually SEEN a ghost before. Maybe I'm becoming a death seer! That would be awesome. Wait...wouldn't that mean I'd go all albino, and not be able to handle sunlight?" She looks for a mirror to check her eyes. She uses her reflection in one of the machines, and pouts, slumping down greatly. "Aw...normal. Crud. Oh, well." She gestures, and her eyes turn a dark red. "...Yeah, not my color." And now they're a bright, inhuman blue. "Much better!"
She speaks rapidly, and confusingly, as if she's not letting herself get a word in edgewise, or just speaking whatever comes to her mind.

Robin asks to Alice half mindedly, giving her atleast something to occupy the employee with as she tries to listen to the others...

Haunted meanwhile hides behind Robin from another excited person, though she does give a shy little wave, eventually floating to circle Alice as Robin goes to try and eavesdrop.

Alice nods. "Sure...it was...AW! Your ghost is shy. That's so cute. Are you a death seer or something? Is that why you have a ghost hanging around you?" She cocks her head to the side, smiling happily at Haunted. She...doesn't answer the question. "Can she touch people?"

Robin hangs her head a bit "I should ask you if you can actually listen to people or not..." She mumbles to herself, before moving her head back up.
"Maybe. Maybe not. Can you answer my question, it'd be really helpfull." She responds to Alice, maybe she could be prodded to a response by doing the same to her, it was worth a try...

Alice shrugs. "I think I saw someone buy a bunch of chocolates...it depends on the type. At least one guy was REALLY weird though. But, he mostly hung around the bakery. So what's with the ghost, Spidey?"

"She uh... appeared in the middle of a room I was just in. Figured she'd need a friend and I wanted to show her around a bit. The trip to the store wasn't exactly planned now that I think about it..." Robin says while looking to the sides. Really wasn't the smartest idea to bring her along, but she couldn't just leave her alone now right ?
"Your really weird guy might be the one we're out for. Unless of course... were all these guys a group ? Can you remember how they looked like and uh... what made that one weird ?" She asks.

She pauses, trying to think...and then works her mouth in a manner reminiscent of a fish gasping for water. It shows off her slight fangs. "I...huh. You know. It's one of those things that's really hard to get into words. And, no, they weren't all in a group. We sell a lot of chocolate. Not a lot of REALLY gourmet chocolate, but a lot of various kinds. I can show it off to ya if ya want, Spidey!"
She smiles brightly, recovering her nerve. "Especially for a cutie like you."

Robin gains a rather embarassed look, considering if she either meant her ghostly companion, or her ghostly companion, but for the sake of keeping her own composure, she'll assume the latter, laughing softly
"I...do have to agree with you, Ichigo manages to impress, unlike what you'd expect from a ghost. A welcome surprise."
She says, while giving Haunted a nod, and walking over to the store counter, towards Alice "Showing sounds just fine to me really." The makeshift detective adds.

Haunted meanwhile seems to have gotten a bit left behind by the conversation as it went on without her. Guess that's what happens when you're quiet and transparent. She does float closer to Robin and Alice though, smiling a little if spaced out a good bit. Though once the past conversation finally registers in her mind she blinks and quietly says "No...can't touch things...not strong enough..." It's a step in the right direction at least, even if she's still a few steps behind.
