Illujanka...points to the portal behind her. "Right there. It's a small realm, just for this class. You enter, find a hiding space, I enter, I find your hiding space, you will not be harmed, as all my magic is set on 'stun'"
Inside, Delphi can see a fiery, volcanic landscape filled with caves, rocky outcroppings, and stalactites, and numerous types of cover. It looks like Mordor, and can definitely sustain a small army. Luckily, there is no actual lava or such. The air is thick, and sulfurous. To Asgreth and Chii, it smells quite homey.
(And that is why she is using a pocket dimension, a Shard. Sorry, I forgot the term wasn't clear to newer people.)

Well then. Who wants to enter the pocket portal to the creepy realm to avoid getting stunned by a creepy teacher? Sure why not, seems like a fun time. Eh. Yolo. Xue Fang gives a nod and... goes to enter the portal. This should be... an interesting experience to say the least.

Asgreth dashes off, slipping "That One Ring" onto his finger as he goes. "So this is what my education has come down to, a game of hide and seek? How pitiful," he thinks to himself as he looks for a suitable hiding spot in the volcanic landscape, perhaps a nice deep cave in which he can use his smaller stature to slither into a nice crack or tunnel.

Haunted goes floating off into the shard, quickly becoming hard to see as she becomes more and more transparent and floats through rocks and such without a care. Least she's not staying IN the rocks forever it seems.

Magical hide and seek. "Sounds good" Nikki already was starting to think of a few unorthodox strategies. Nikki was, after, possessed of a tactician's mind.

Katelyn listens to the description of the instructor carefully, and her expression slowly brightens up!
"Oh...well...that still sounds pretty cool! I can cleanse people in the name of justice!"

Illujanka points to the Shard, and gestures for Nikki and Kate to scoot. "Don't forget to find your hiding place!"
(I'm leaving the description of the shard relatively light...because, as this is FATE, you're able to make up hiding places and features as you wish! The shard is a large, volcanic landscape, festooned with cracks, tunnels, stalactites, and more. No need to roll. And, consider yourself having infinite free tags of Area Aspects)
Area Aspects Rocky and Sulfurous. Filled with Hiding Spots. Dank Cave
More possible. (See Xue. See Xue use Assessments. Good Xue, Good)

"It's not hide and seek, it's tag." Nikki thought, after listening to the dragon speak. The thing was, that she wasn't looking for a clever hiding spot. This little place was their teacher's, right? That meant she probably knew it front and back; heck, hiding in a simple place might be as good simply because nobody would search there.
That's why Nikki remembered the rules: it wasn't a matter of just finding her. She had to actually tag her with magic.
So she decided her tactic would be guerrilla warfare instead.
Nikki ran off, and found a large boulder. Large enough that she could hide behind it, but small enough that she could maneuver around it so she could perpetually avoid Illujanka's fire. No matter how fast her opponent was, Nikki would have the advantage that she effectively had less distance to travel, making flanking far more difficult. Here was, of course, a fatal and glaring flaw with that plan: Baal's progency could simply approach the stone to cut down that distance.
... Which she fully expected her to try.
The ground was covered with ash and sulfur. She planned on throwing it into her eyes if she got too close. While she didn't know how a demon would react, she figured that even if they have an affinity for the stuff, they'd at minimum react as if a bunch of sand got into her eyes. Nikki figured it would be significantly worse. This was why Nikki choose this place instead of a narrow pass: there was only one way that she would have been able to go there, even though ambushing opportunities were better. Hiding behind a boulder, there were any number of directions she could run off into.

Robin blinks, oh boy, hide and seek... she was not exactly the athletic type, so her hideout had to make due somehow. She gets out from her seat, and moves into the portal, no time to waste~

Unfortunately, she was wearing stark white clothes. And she had to hide in...this place. Well that meant things were going to get a bit more interesting. After distancing herself a bit from the main entrance, Xue Fang begins to remove her outer layers. She sheds them, folds them, and sets them aside. Dressed beneath in tight fitting gym clothes, she sets off to first off - find something that is a bit more physically difficult to get to. To avoid detection, you would need a few different things to fall into place.
1) Ease of access 2) Lack of senses 3) Sources of confusion.
The harder an area is to survey or access, the easier it is to hide there. The more senses that are continually disturbed, either by lack of light or by abundance of sound, the easier it is to camoflauge certain things. As for confusion... she'd need a distraction of some sort to hide her real intention. For now, she wants to find a cave. Going deeper into the area, she begins to coat herself with the ash and cover up her form, covering her metallic parts before others could perhaps get the chance to see her. Then going up and deeper, towards the heat, she plans on... causing a cave to collapse. More or less. And being inside. She could more than likely crawl out if required. The dank cave she selected had some steam jetting out. Making it a bit... more difficult... to breathe. Heat. That was good. Sound. Lack of light... now to bring down a bit more of the cave. Eeeegh...
Xue wish she had her sword. As is... well. She didn't need too much. Just a small section of the back or side of the cave to make it look like it caved in over time, and then.. to hide in the rubble. This is all ignoring the fact that the predator involved made this place and probably knows it all and can detect intruders instinctively. Oh well. Punch some rock. Punch some rock.. PUNCH SOME ROCK - oh . There it is. Alright. Bury yourself Xue. .. there we go... now... close your eyes.. and wait.
( Mitch: It's fine. Just note that with Mitch's approval, you're doing a 0 DC Assessment to add Dank Cave to the area.)

Illujanka awaits outside the portal, and closes her eyes. She...starts counting.
"Three."
It's apparently not seconds, but the group is clearly on a timer now. The game is about to begin...and anyone not in a hiding space is going to be in a lot of trouble!

Delphi, personally, had been looking at the land inside the Shard with fear and revulsion. She didn't see much in the way of greenery, and the smell seeping through the portal was enough to make Delphi wonder whether she would be able to breath overly long without problems.
And then Illujanka started counting. Great. Just great. Delphi rushes inside the portal, with one of her tree branches leaves covering her mouth, in the hope that the smell of the leaves will counteract the smell of the sulphur in the air. She quickly looks around for an area with large crevices she can fit into, preferably with some sort of nearby plant life, and starts following the crevices in an attempt to get into a position where she can't see the portal, but where she can hide as a "natural" bush growing from a crevice.

Drazx finds what he is looking for and hides withing the dark expanses of a cave with a hole in the roof just the right size for him to sit comfortably in.

Chii spends the beginning of the class unenthusiastically taking notes (even if she knew a lot of this already, in practice if not necessarily in theory) and wondering if Kate truly wanted to go around fighting evil with moonlight....or whatever it was. She only half-knew what Sailor Moon was, her manga scholarship being limited to a few titles translated to Portuguese available in the middle of Mozambique.
That's when Ilujanka Baal decided that it was time to demonstrate by sending the class on "Hide and Seek". This could not end well, Chii decided - ancient Demon warrior of great power versus college students? At least the place looked and smelled familiar - Yomi, or somewhere like it. Knowing how terrible she was at actually hiding, she instead trusted to speed as much as possible - running as far and fast as she could given the time frame, and ducking into a narrow and distant crevice in the ground, hoping it would give her space and time to consider other options.

Now that Xue was in position... it was time to.. minimize her footprint. Magic. Ugh. Hiding from magic. Double ugh. Well. How would you hide from someone that could read body heat? Cover yourself in mud, submerge yourself as best you can, and try not to move. So... how not to move magically? Uuuuh.. mgh. Quiet. Sleep? Sure. Sleep. Meditation. Just to quiet everything... There we go. Xue Fang began to try to... meditate... or fall asleep. Given that her body was largely cybernetic, comfort wasn't really a problem. Think about nothing... just... nothing...
