Mika...for her part...holds up a directional microphone. And in her second hand, she holds up a list. "Still standing here. Still looking for ways to use this list the three of us got."
Adrian, the reporter with a strange resemblance to Richard Attenborough, coughs. "I DO still have some questions. So, maybe ignoring the reporter is not the best idea?"

Xue stirs her shake a little bit and pumps the straw into the mix. She finally seems satisfied and gives it another sip. "Well -" she says, "What list? Aaand... what questions?" She says, looking to Adrian. ""

Adrian coughs. He turns to Xue. "Now, can you tell me about Greta, the dryad, and some of the people who are, repotredly, planning to join the club? Especially who they are affiliated with. A woman named...Jessica? Dima...Something about Jennifer? Is there any reason why they are chosen?" He suddenly raises an eyebrow. "Ah! Piper. I remember her."
He shakes his head, clearing out the static. "Yes. So...tell me about these people."
Mika...points to a list. "We listened to those people Greta wanted you to talk to. They seem like good interviewees..."

"Hm? I really don't know." She says. She chews on the end of her straw for a moment, "Going to check it out ourselves. School project. Looking for people to exhibit the uniqueness of the Meta Club. Personally, I thought you were going to do more prying questions on the folks than what the current ..." She purses her lips in thought for a moment, "School Project is." There we go, sip the .. aw. Its empty. Meh. "Hm. Well if you guys want to hear more about what we're doing, I think it'd be a pretty sweet deal. But I think the folks might be a bit upset if we go up in a pack like so with all you guys. You're sort of a buzz kill with the microphones. Maybe something like a tape recorder, and one of you tag along? No offense but if you want to set up an interview later, I think that could work out. Keeps you guys happy, keeps us looking good - and without you guys hounding us whenever we're going for a refill on a coke. More or less."

Nikki sighed, her face still red with frustation, before calming down "I'll help a bit, if you can keep your coworker from badgering any of the people on the list." Nikki sighed "And... how did he get his journalism degree again?"

Adrian stays with Xue, thinking over how to respond, while Mika walks over to Nikki. "...He's not my coworker. He's a guy with a blog. And...I WOULD stop him, but, well...I don't know how. Hold on."
She pulls out her cell, dials a number, and..."...DISCONNECTED!" She sighs. "And his cell phone was a burner. Yeah, that's my one idea. He doesn't have a degree. He just has...a couple million views. "
Adrian, for his part, rubs his chin.

"S-so he's just a hack on the internet?"
She looks at Nikki and Xue.
"As I was saying, I'd like to join this club. My name is Casey Duo. Nice to meet you all." She actually curtsy when she introduces herself. "This is Destiny, she's the best
She then looks at Mika.
"You got most details right. A Kumiho Did try to Eat me and take over my body. Luckily Dessy's dad hurt it bad before.....it couldn't concentrate hard enough to pull it off and killed itself in the process. And left me like this...." She said as honestly as possible, though it's clear she doesn't want go into detail of how it felt.

"Great, the bigot leads numerous like-minded bigots. Why is it that the most obnoxious ones get the followers?" Delphi rhetorically asked. "I can't answer your questions, today was my first visit to the club, and I didn't even get to introductions before you three made a noise out here. You three ARE responsible for the thumping noise, earlier, right?"

Adrian turns to Mika. "I told you you shouldn't have tried to get up on our shoulders to get a 'higher view'." His voice is the deadpan of someone who has dealt with idiots for far, far too long.
Mika sticks out her tongue at him.

"A blog? Interesting. It is a very real thing today." Xue crosses her arms in thought, but gives a shrug, "A degree teaches you techniques, not talent. Though a talented person with those technique is scary. Sort of like going to school for dance when others just practice it daily." Take dance for martial arts, and you get what Xue was really thinking, but hey. Close enough.

"Do we... have to stick around with that viewhungry guy ? He is just making our job a lot harder... and my nerves a lot thinner at that." She says, crossing her arms "What's with these guys and their blogs nowadays anyway, they're like Jump n' Runs in the 80's" Robin points out further.

Mika smiles, and looks over the list. "So...for ease of use, how about we divide it up? I'll look for this Dima chick, Adrian can do...whatever Adrian does, and you guys look for the rest?"

Destiny shrugs. "So they're just from some irrelevant website that nobody reads? I guess they're pretty harmless then. A PR team could probably drown out anything bad they say about us."

Delphi looks at Destiny, shocked. "I'm pretty sure that'll backfire. Even if you could afford it, I've heard that people trying to kill bad PR just makes it a bigger story, with more people digging up what you're burying. And a couple million views means people read it regularly. Personally, I'm hoping the idiot will hear about something far away to panic about, and run off to write about that instead."

"You know... insulting someone and belittling them in their presence isn't the best idea." Xue says, "Just... trust me. Its better to have the press as your ally than as your enemy. And then ontop of that, if said person is feeding the internet, which is where most people are getting their news from these days, it might just help stunt other attacks. Particularly if their words are the first reported words."
