Niko’s Apartment!
Niko’s home looks to be your average, everyday apartment, with a somewhat beaten-up, but functional black Impala in the parking lot in front of it. The average-looking white apartment also looks average on the inside, if a bit much for one person to live in. Niko keeps it decently tidy in here, with a small kitchen, decently sized living room, and her own bedroom. Her TV is a CRT from the 90s with some older consoles and a cable box hooked up to it. Her rather average bedroom is similarly equipped, and the other two rooms consist of a bathroom, and the strangest room of the entire apartment.
The Hunter’s Room consists of a few bookshelves lined with information on the supernatural. A large metal safe sits in the corner of the room, currently empty as Niko tends to carry its contents with her. Well, there’s some boxes of ammo, some silver paint, a few jars of garlic and a wooden stake in there, but that’s about it. The real treasure is Niko’s twin pistols, which are usually on her person. On the desk is a cheap laptop, nothing special, with one of the shortcuts on the desktop labeled ‘Hunters Worldwide FB Page’. There’s an empty old wooden coat rack here, too.
Finally, of note only to the serious otakus out there, Niko appears to be a collector of anime and manga, particularly of the shonen genre. The books and DVDs line the walls of her bedroom, and she’s even got a figurine of a particularly iconic heroic mecha still in the box. It might be one of the most valuable mundane things she owns.
(Niko gains a + 2 bonus to researching supernatural beings in her home.)
Equipment:
Niko’s Twin Handguns (+ 2 attack)
Hunter’s Leather Jacket (+2 armor)
Niko’s Car (Aspect: Beaten Up. The AC doesn’t work and there’s a Queen cassette stuck in the cassette player, but it runs! If you’re uncomfortable, roll the windows down… oh, they’re stuck? Try hitting the door…)
Cheap Computer (Access to Hunter Network)
Easton Journal (Aspect: Hunter Lore. Every encounter, observation and rumor about the ‘creatures of the night’ that the Easton clan came across is written down here, for better or for worse.)
