Proxy Sofia
Aspect when Animated: [Sophie’s Image (P)]
Description: Sofia’s default body. See Appearence for detail
Striking Looks (Absolutely Stunning could have been an option admittedly, but her parents aren't models, so Striking Looks would make more since as 'coincidental' or just 'getting the best set of genes for looks'). <Absolutely Stunning will be used for a different model later>
Preceeding Reputation (It's her main body, so this is look people know about her with)
[Common Durability (P)] (Basically a persistent aspect that basically can be invoked as extra AR against unintentional blunt force trauma, basically 'common' accidental injuries, mean so nobody asks questions why her wounds don't look right. Basically, it's a Masquerade preserver)
[Resilient] (Same reason as common durability: so she can actually take minor injuries without causing problems)
Facility:
Doll Crafting Shack - An out of apartment small shack in a secluded part of town where Sophia crafts her ‘dolls’. While normally, creating a more decorative item would cost less, the advanced functions require specialized equipment. Grants +1 to rolls to craft dolls and mannequins, including for ‘casting’ rolls for Transmogrification crafting.
Equipment
Bowie Knife (WR: 2, Small, [Like Pocket Change to Me (P)])
Animate Object Force Talisman (+2 Bonus to ‘Animate Object’ rolls) <Sofia’s Avatar>
Expensive Formal Dress (+2 to Social Interactions with those who wealth is a big deal for, reserved for formal occasion) <Support her Status Quo>
Luxurious Bed (+4 to rolls where quality of rest comes up) <Terribly Weak Body>
Custom Epoxy (+4 to craft rolls to fix superficial damage on puppet bodies) <Specialty Puppets>
Appearence
Main Puppet Body:
This is her main ‘body’, and thus how she presents herself to the world. Sofia's main 'body' is attractive in a balance cute-sexy way, but she's not jaw dropping. She’s about 5’ 7”. She has long, dark auburn straight hair that reaches a little past her shoulders, curled near the ends, with long and thick bangs that do not merge with the rest of her hair, reaching down as far, bound near the end by small white bows. She has pale skin as well. She has a large white bow on the back of her head, and a somewhat large forehead. She has narrow, relatively downturned red eyes eyes.
Her top is a white angora bolero that has white frills that has loose sleeves near the end, and is joined by a silver button. Underneath it, she wears a lightly ribbed black cashmere sweater, with a simple garnet pendant with a white gold chain. The sweater, while closed, has black buttons going down it. She has a white angora sash around her waist, with a white gold gilded buckle with a large piece of garnet in the center. Note that while the sweater is not a sweater dress, the sweater goes just a bit past her crotch, flaring out just slightly near the end.
She wears white wool palazzo pants. Under it, she wears black ugg boots with red accents.
ACTUAL Body:
Basically a more pathetic looking version of the above. Sofia doesn’t have much in way of endowment or curves, due to her ailments inhibiting her growth. Her hair is simpler, just straight, though the same length. She’s barely above skin and bones; most dryads have more muscle than her. Her body generally looks like someone who’s prone to illness, and who’s unusually sickly.
Personality:
At first, she comes across as an upbeat, friendly, and sophisticated would-be socialite. However, years spent where she barely wanted to leave her room, not to mention having ‘overcome’ her illness, typically being home schooled has had an impact on her personality. She tends to have a hard time refusing challenges, having a competitive streak a mile wide.
At the same time though, she’s pretty insecure. While she likes the general appearance of her puppet body, she detests her actual body, something weak and miserable in her eyes. As such, she generally tends to deflect conversation about her actual self, typically focusing on the customizability of her puppets and their safety if pressed about it. Also, she's a massive otaku and gamer.
Background:
Sofia’s ancestors were wealthy Russian industrialist who were chased out of the country during the Russian Revolution, fleeing to America. Thankfully for them, they’d already planned ahead. They managed to flee with a good amount of precious metal, and had invested in American industry as a way to convince authorities to be more lenient with imports. As a result, even after fleeing, they managed to stay relatively wealthy, entering the industry of manufacturing mass-produced baked goods as Mountaintop Bakery Inc.
Having more than a few grudges against the reds, her family quickly latched onto the Cold War, as a family that first hand saw the horrors of the Communist revolution. While their influence barely touched Washington outside their own state’s legislature, they became something of a force in the Cold War era Montana state legislature.
Sofia’s birth to Pyotr and Rebecca was underwhelming. Though born premature, that was just one problem. A host of other medical problems, though surprisingly with little impact on her possible lifespan, left her incredibly sickly. Sofia was basically homeschooled for most of her early life, up until her Sophomore year of high school.
Notably, after Sofia’s birth, some servants thought their mansion to be haunted. Objects would levitate on occasion. Whispers got out of the house, and the Community found out. A shaper diagnosed Sofia as being an Animator.
Sofia had always had a very strong artistic talent, and along with learning animation, made ‘puppets’, mannequins that could be mistaken for humans even in feel, that could be used as bodies.
By her Sophomore year, she started living a more normal life, and as thanks, their next factory was located in Sanctuary, a Community-only hiring factory that was meant be ‘masquerade loose’. Come college, she’d joined with the other community members there.
