The newcomer glances around, heading toward the group, a bit confused.
"Hey uh...I'm...new here....and wondering why there's a police officer here already..."

(Okay. TUTORIAL TIME...Xue rolled a +0, -1, +1, and -1. That's added to her Empathy of 1...which means she gets a 0. Against a DC of 2, that's a fail. With Deception, she got a +1, a +1, a +0, and a +1. Despite her deception of 1...that means she gets a total Deception of +4. Xue could have spent a Fate Point to improve either of these rolls, and the easiest for a PbB would be spending one to get +2, allowing her to start with an Empathy or Deception of 3. A permenant aspect could be used to ALWAYS get a +2, for free.)
For a minute, Xue is wondering if the officer suspects her of something. He seems to be eyeing her suspiciously, looking over at her bag...before smiling brightly. "Oh! Hey! You're a video game fan! Me too! I love that game, I always play as that thunder god dude. I think there might be a convention in town...Maybe I should investigate that..."
He turns to Chii, and raises an eyebrow. "You giving me the stink-eye?" He raises an eyebrow. "And what's with the weird tats?"
He doesn't notice the "Cute little sister" yet.
(MBTC gains a Fate point, and the temporary aspect: Officer Sally's Suspicions.)

"Yes Raiden.. he is fun to play." Xue Fang finds a way to relax. It takes her a moment trying to work up more of the conversation - "I thought it'd be a pretty nice thing to have around when going to the gym. I still need to get me some music but, this works for the moment." You know what. It might be better if she stopped talking. Yeah. She's gonna stop talking now.

Chii shrugs, and does not even bother to try to make a good story...which may not be wise. "Perhaps things are different in this country, but where I come from, most constables are ... not to be trusted. Let poachers off with bribes, investigate rivals of big politicians, and so on? And what are 'tats'?"

Nikki recognized the newcomer with a nod, although she had a more pressing thing to attend to. The fact that Xue had some trouble raised a few extra red flags as well. Still, Nikki had been raised to respect authority; her father would kill her if she disrespected a duly dispatched officer of the law, acting in full compliance with the rigors of his office. Still, she decided it would be best to let Xue speak; she knew this situation far better than she did herself.
When the newcomer asked about the cop, Nikki told her "Apparently, there's been some trouble out in town, and the officer thinks there's some connection to Xue."

Robin picks her bag up and throws it over shoulder, holding it by one of the straps
"What does a police officer do in here anyway ? Thought this was some sort of er...safe building or something..."
She says, wondering if this officer was... aware, of the place he currently is in.
(Well that's my roll drowning quickly...From all I know, I rolled 2 -, 1 0 and 2+, making it a 0 in total, while I have a +3 to the roll since I invoke a knowledge roll regarding game stuff. Unless I'm mistaken with the math of course.)

(First up, Zoey. You only roll 4 times, but yeah. Your base knowledge is 2+1...and, since one of the "-" was last, that's the one we pooof. So, you hit a 4 DC, and this was only a 3DC. Remember, you can spend a fate point for an additional +2, by invoking your aspect Patriotic Videogame Nerd).
Robin can tell that the emblem is subtly different from the Mortal Kombat symbol. There's definitely something more to the story.
The officer holds up a hand to the group, and bends down to look at Kate. "Don't worry, Ms. Fang isn't in trouble. I'm just doing a preliminary investigatoin of anyone who might be involved. And, she seems nice, so she's probably not involved. Though...I do need to talk to your other friend about how officers of the law in the USA are not nearly as corrupt."
He turns to Chii. "Look, I'm a beat cop. People got hurt in this theft, and an Upright was stolen. When people get hurt, it's my job to find the guys who did it, and put them in jail where they can't hurt anyone else. And tats means Tattoos. Those markings on your face" He points to his face, and gestures, mimicing the demonic Markings on Chii's face. Somebody obviously didn't pay attention to a briefing on supernatural beings.

Haunted sets her new course in an oval between the door and Robin, ready to head out and lead the way once Robin gets going.
(Two questions, first off, is there going to be a thread to specifically post our facilities in or shall we just post them, and shall I have to roll to make sure I actually GO to Haunted's place and not suddenly teleport?)

Being cleared of a cursory investigation is... good. Though it brings more problems for the future. What would be the smart play? What is the right thing to do here. Xue Fang could divulge more information. Shed more light on the world. It may be more than the man is ready for. More than enough danger. No. Deny, deny, deny. "Do you require my contact information?" She eventually says. Though that... guy... in this construction facility needed to be dealt with. So that meant trying to usher this cop on his way.

Chii nods to the officer, wincing when he mentions people being hurt.
"I...think I understand."
She does not entirely accept his story at a glance but realizes that it would be unwise to dispute him - and that people may have actually been hurt, which was far worse than anything involving an upright. On the other hand, he seemed to have slept through the past few years?
"As for 'tattoos'....I don't have any. I was born with these." Chii points to the red marks on her face, then opens her mouth and points to her fangs. "I'm not human. Demon." She smirks. "You do realize that there is also a robot, dryad, and other non-humans here, yes? Do I need to remove clothes to provide more proof, or is this sufficient?"

The officer blinks. "Huh...can't say I've ever seen a Demon in person. Hearda them, though..." He pats Kate on the head. "Anyway, I gotta get back to work. I'll get your contact info from School records."
He waves, and Officer Robert Sally leaves the building!

As Kate is patted on the head, she beams with pride and joy like a kid receiving praise from a parent. She waves to the officer and then turns her attention to Chii.
"So you're a demon? That's so cool! I found out recently that I'm a succubus, so I'm sort've like a demon, right?"
