Psyche Community College was not the most prestigious university. At least, until recently. Not very mini things can make a university go from nothigness to national prominence overnight. Being selected as one of the first universities to have non-humans, Demons, and Gods as both teachers and students, in addition to offering public courses in psychic techniques, and even Magic, is one of those things. Large amounts of funding from Psyche, Avalon, and various governments, also helps. Many students with supernatural powers have been granted free rides, while others have incredible resources to use. At least one student has offered to pay entirely in Spanish Doubloons. Whatever the source, people are now flocking to the school in droves. While the courses have not yet begun, it is considered even more important that the students have a chance to get used to everything, and can be prepared to, deal with the unique nature of a supernatural college life. As such, students have been divided into separate clubs, so as to introduce them to everything they need. The club for the players...is the Meta Club. You are all members, and the time of the first meeting...is now.
The area currently used is a large warehouse off campus, which was once part of a campus-funded club. The owner decided to sell it when offered a generous, generous payment from Psyche, and it is now used for school club meetings. At present, the area is quite barebones. It consists mostly of sufficient AC and Central Heating, so that the room is not too warm or too hot. There are chairs, couches, and refreshments set out for everyone, and an old TV with a few out-of-date video game systems. There is also a stage and a mic from the previous occupation, in case someone wants to try karaoke.
The organizer of this club, most commonly found sitting at her desk, is a Professor Greta Van Hout. The ancient history teacher, with a specialty in the Holy Roman Empire and surrounding territories, it is only recently that her true source has been revealed. As an immortal Dryad, she lived through the Holy Roman Empire, and past it. Fluent in German, Middle English, and Latin, she is recognizable by her stern air, and her ability to appear any age from thirty to fifty. As the head of this club, it is to her that many will turn.
(This thread is a place to meet people, and organize other things to do. Think of it as a general, ongoing 'be social' event. Remember, being here doesn't mean you can't also be somewhere else!)
