"Hmm... no. My family practiced augmentations to create stronger warriors. Various pacts for shadows, alchemy, creative use of medications, and now - cybernetics. And yeah, I can do some neat things, but really it just puts us on the playing field of a lot of tougher things out there." Xue Fang smiles a bit as she indulges the curiosity - and creativity, of the other. It was certainly something other than playing DDR all night.

"Oh no, I am pretty happy with my childhood, its my adult life that's turning out to be a bit of a pain." She says in response, "Though hopefully this place will change some of that." Xue took a quiet note. Maybe the hair was unusual at first, but hey whatever, now she's glowing as well. Kay. So she's a light bulb. That's... something. Meh, at least she doesn't have two heads or seven tentacles or whatnot.

Yeah. Definitely someone energetic. So well does she answer or no? Meh. Well she saw the website. Or some of it at least. "Well - I came oversees to get some space. My father was murdered, the murderer took over the Organization, and has people committing more problems on this side of the pond. So - I'm mainly here to learn all I can to get revenge while hopefully not getting slaughtered in the meantime."

Mio's eyebrows shot up, her previous happiness features retracting at the revelation. "A-are... you serious?" She stammered shocked, a hand moving to lightly grip her elbow. "Well, er..." She started, looking away. "I'm sorry to bring it up. That sounds crazy heavy... erm... yeah..." She said, squirming a bit in awkwardness. "Well er... you seem... to er..." She tried, but failed to form any coherent statement.

Xue Fang lets out another breath and shrugs it off. "Eh. Its not that awkward. People tend to think shinobi are things of the past." She settles back in her chair and looks to the computer screen, "Not really. We just modernized."

"Shinobi? So like... robo ninjas?" She asked curious, interest rising again. "Or modern in another, more boring way, like 'infiltration through filesystems' so ninjas are all white collar hackers now? Do you at least still wear the ninja pajamas under your polos?" She said, giggling a bit at the idea. Her eyes grew once more and hair got a more healthy body to it as she did so as well, her whole being growing happier.

Its just too conspicuous these days to get seen in all black." She gets a bit of a smile, "So usually you look like someone that's supposed to be there." Well... that seemed to have gotten the girl's attention again. "Though it seems the guy that murdered my father is ... creating a movie about the event. And apparently Mr. Beard is going to have a love affair with someone playing me."

She gets a bit of a bemused glance. "I... alright, my name is Xue Fang." She says. Didn't she introduce herself already? Then again, its been a bit of a roller coaster of information, so yeah. "I don't really have an alias so much. Call signs come and go according to the mission."
