Mio sat at the workstation a bit impatiently, watching the install bar slowly fill. She was grumbling quite a bit to herself and slowly drumming her fingers on the desk. A large suitcase rested to the side of the desk with a paper draped above it, a check in date highlighted for an apartment complex... Tomorrow's date. The girl gazed around the "All Nets Final" net cafe a bit drearily, a forked tongue flitting from within her mouth as her frustration mounted. "I wonder if they run through the night..." She mused to herself before taking a drink of bona tea in attempt to ease her nerves.

Xue makes her way into the cafe. She's chewing on some bubble gum, wearing a black hoodie and blue jeans. She doesn't appear to have her weapon with her this time. Other than that, things seem... sort of normal. She keeps an eye out for any particular oddities as eventually settles down at a computer to check out certain peculiarities.

Mio raised an eyebrow at the other person. She had been alone previously, it a rather slow day in the cafe. She watched her move a moment before giving her wheelie chair a little kick, causing it to slide across the floor towards Xue. It slows to a stop about a meter away, Mio making small lurching twists of her body to get the chair to face the girl. "Hello there, mysterious stranger." She said with a soft grin, her eyes still a bit fierce from her previous annoyance.

She manages a bit of a smile to Mio. It takes a span to try and get into that 'friendly' mode. Right. College stuff! Meeting strangers and punching things... She guessed anyway. "Ah, hello. How are you?" She says and manages a bit of a bow of her head.

"Been better really." Mio shrugged with a small huff. She crossed her arms, leaning back in her chair. "New to the area... you live around here?"

That manages a bit of a more honest light to her smile than courtesy. "I am as well. I am Xue Fang." She says, "The net isn't that great at my place, but I don't live too far from here no."

"I see. Sucks." She said, nodding a bit. "Hate slow net... worse than having none because then you have the fucking tantalizing parts of a site while waiting for the rest to load..."

She quirks an eyebrow at that notion and manages a bit of a soft laugh, "Hm. Well I'm just checking on ... hm.. a news site. Someone sent me an e-mail, so I thought I'd check it out. I don't tend to surf the web too much. Too much stuff out there." Xue gives a bit of a shrug.

"I see. Sorry, didn't mean to get nosy." She said, smiling as she shrugged. Her features softened as she went, eyes starting to grow a bit larger and rounder. "Are you a student at the college here? I just enrolled, myself."

Xue Fang rationalizes a few things at this point and time. One - she is probably the only person to walk into this cafe since it opened today. Two - If the person was enrolled in 'the college here' she's probably doing that whole unique special power thing as well. Ugh. Being social was so tedious! She gives a bit of a shrug. She begins to touch the keyboard slowly - delicately, as she tries to get precisely the right keys. "Hm? Yeah. Its going to be pretty interesting I think."

"Interesting how? I honestly have no idea what to expect, just that this is a good place for... people." She said, pausing a moment to ponder something. "You said it's 'going' to be interesting, so... is this your first year here as well? Did I stumble upon a classmate?" She finished with a grin, her hair gaining a bit of a sheen as she spoke.

The profuse propagation of profanity is barely curtailed as she watched. "I'm going to murder him so hard." The breath escapes as she lets out a long sigh. "Well then. That just happened." She looks over to the other person, "Hm? Yeah. Classmate. I don't have any powers so to speak or ability to use magic that I'm aware of. Just extensive cybernetics."

"Really? That's cool!" She said, momentarily distracted by the clip. "What sort? Can you jump really far like I-' she started before sputtering a bit to stop herself. "I... er... mean... What sort of cybernetics do you ahve?" She said, trying to show off a cool composure as well, though blushing at the outburst.

The interest of the other catches Xue by surprise just a bit. Enough to sort of distract her from her own anger for the time being at least. "Hm? Well pretty extensive. Its part of how I was raised."
